Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the educational features, and limited technical information needed to operate the app.

• Account information, such as name, email address, password for authentication, account role, user ID, and verification or password-reset details.
• Tutor profile information, such as name, email address, package, birthday, and profile image or avatar if provided.
• Student information entered by an authorized user, such as student name, birthday, avatar or image ID, student ID, tutor-student links, syllabus selections, tests, study plans, study progress, lesson activity, predicted marks, completion information, and related learning or performance data.
• App data stored on your device, such as session tokens, account details needed to keep you signed in, language preferences, cached learning content, offline study progress, React Query/offline cache data, and a generated device identifier used for content requests.
• Technical and service data, such as API requests, server logs, IP address, device or browser information, error information, and timestamps. We use this to secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.

Information we do not intentionally collect

The current Ractorly mobile app does not request precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, or device file-storage permissions. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student personal information for targeted advertising.

How we use information

• Create, verify, and manage user accounts.
• Authenticate users, keep users signed in, and protect accounts.
• Provide educational content, study plans, tests, student dashboards, and progress tracking.
• Link authorized tutors, teachers, parents, guardians, schools, and students where needed for the service.
• Cache content and progress locally so the app can work more reliably.
• Send service messages, verification emails, password-reset messages, and support communications.
• Debug errors, monitor service health, prevent misuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only as needed to operate Ractorly, support authorized educational use, protect the service, or comply with law.

Service providers that host or support the app may include cloud infrastructure, website hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, support, and security providers, including Microsoft Azure and Firebase Hosting.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Ractorly, maintain accounts, support educational records, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our Terms.
